Job Description

A K-12 school in Merced, CA is seeking a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide expert behavioral support during a leave contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge in applied behavior analysis within an educational setting, working closely with students, educators, and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Current BCBA certification
• Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
• Strong understanding of behavior assessment, intervention planning, and data-driven decision making
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
• Provide ongoing coaching and training to teachers and support staff on behavior management strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to positive school culture initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection in compliance with regulatory standards
