Job Description Job Description Job Title: Commercial Roofer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Roofer to assist in the installation of various commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing. This role involves loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment at job sites, removing old roofing materials, and preparing surfaces for new installations. The successful candidate will operate hand and power tools safely and effectively while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Support the roofing crew with tasks as directed by the foreman or superintendent. Perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials. Help with waterproofing, flashing, and sealing roof penetrations. Essential Skills Roofing Construction General labor Sheet metal Power tool operation Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in roofing or construction preferred but not required. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods. Reliable transportation to job sites. OSHA 10 certification is a plus. Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
