American National is currently seeking a Duck Creek Developer for our Springfield, MO location. This position is responsible for the writing and testing of software code related to our Personal Lines policy administration system. Duties and responsibilities: Ability to create innovative solutions to existing problems Translate user requests into logical computer instructions Represent IT during business meetings Support the development of an object-oriented policy administration system using a proprietary toolset Required Qualifications: Degree in an IT related field, or Business degree with software programming courses completed or equivalent work experience with Duck Creek Software Willingness to participate in additional insurance and IT training/testing as required Knowledge of SQL and/or XML Energetic and engaging self-starters possessing strong analytical, communication, organizational and technology skills. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of two (2+) years’ experience in Duck Creek Policy Platform including Server, Express, Skins, User Admin, Product Studio, Author, etc. Strong understanding and working knowledge of P&C Insurance (Personal Lines experience a plus) Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
