Job Description
Performs basic maintenance and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment under supervision, focusing on routine service, simple diagnostics, and assisting senior technicians with complex issues. Key duties include inspections, lubrication, replacing worn parts, and maintaining maintenance logs, with a focus on learning advanced skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Routine Maintenance:
Perform preventative maintenance such as fluid checks, filter changes, lubrication, and cleaning.
Basic Repairs:
Assist with or perform simple mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on forklifts and other equipment.
Inspections & Diagnostics:
Conduct safety inspections and assist senior technicians with basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues.
