Overview A family in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a full-time nanny for their 3 year-old daughter, starting September 1, with a few weeks spent with the family’s current nanny, who will help the candidate transition into the role and set her up for success. The schedule will generally be 11:30am-7:30pm Monday through Friday. This role is open to both live-in and live-out candidates (a separate ADU is available to those candidates who wish to live-in). Responsibilities Ensure the toddler’s safety and well-being at all times Be comfortable preparing simple, healthy food for the toddler School drop off and pick up (by car) Driving the toddler to scheduled activities Light housekeeping and laundry for the toddler Qualifications The ideal candidate is warm, nurturing, and proactive, as well as committed to being fully engaged with the toddler at all times Must be organized, punctual, with a positive attitude, and a passion for children Candidates with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with a similar age group are preferred, and a background/education in Child Development and/or a solid understanding of developmental milestones is ideal. Requirements US passport, Green Card or EAC Must have a clean and current driving record and be comfortable driving (the family will provide a car for use on duty) Passport ready and willing to travel for up to 2x consecutive weeks, both domestically and internationally Superlative references are a must.
