Position Title: Material Control Technician

Wage: $19.50 - $25.00/hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 11:00pm - 7:00am

Material Control Technician Responsibilities:
- Follow safety, quality and non-conforming material practices
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Use EBS ERP system for inventory and transaction processes
- Pick and prepare materials for production to work orders
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to the appropriate departments or workstations
- Ensure order picking is balanced between all lines / cells
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to supervision / management
- Ensures shop is kept organized within the areas of material control responsibility using 6S organization methodology

Requirements for Material Control Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to routinely lift 40lbs
- Able to operate a variety of tools and equipment including forklift truck)
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Safety-conscious
- Good computer skills
- Previous material control experience preferred
