Professional Search Group OC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Onboarding Specialist. The  Onboarding Specialist is essential in ensuring new customers are accurately set up, vetted, and ready for business through close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Professional Search Group OC is proud to partner with the largest medical supply distributor and support their operations team.

Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all aspects of customer onboarding, ensuring timely and accurate setup.
  • Run bank and vendor references to support credit evaluations.
  • Conduct credit checks and analyze risk to determine appropriate terms.
  • Enter new customer data into the ERP system, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to collect and verify required onboarding documents.
  • Maintain applicant profiles and supporting documents in the applicant tracking or CRM system.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure clients have appropriate insurance documentation on file before activating accounts.
  • Input client information into spreadsheets and internal databases for quick access by leadership.
  • Maintain data accuracy by following standard data entry protocols and procedures.

Onboarding Specialist Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer onboarding, credit, or administrative operations.
  • Experience running credit and reference checks; familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple onboarding workflows at once.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and documentation habits.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ERP platforms.

Onboarding Specialist Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working with credit teams or in a finance-related onboarding role.
  • Exposure to insurance verification and customer compliance protocols.
