Job Description

A full-time Social Worker is needed to support K-12 students in a Washington, PA school district. This contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek with a consistent schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The primary caseload will focus on middle and high school students, with occasional responsibilities at the nearby elementary school. This role requires onsite presence to engage directly with students, families, and school staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive social work services to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop individualized support plans
• Conduct assessments and referrals to community resources as needed
• Facilitate group sessions and crisis intervention when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Social Work license or certification appropriate for school settings
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational environments preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and families
• Knowledge of community resources and ability to coordinate support services
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels
