As a Backend Engineer, you’ll join a high-impact, fast-moving team working on large-scale backend systems and services that directly shape the product. You’ll contribute to systems supporting millions of users, integrating machine learning models, and building scalable architecture. Responsibilities: Work cross-functionally with engineers, MLEs, and PMs to design and deliver backend systems for user-facing features Take ownership of key technical and architectural decisions across multiple product areas Help decompose monolithic systems into clean, decoupled services that separate infrastructure and product logic Build and maintain data pipelines to support ML feature engineering and occasionally productionalize ML models Write clean, scalable, and production-quality code with a focus on performance and maintainability Requirements: At least 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer using Go and one or more of Python, Ruby, Java, or C++ Strong experience with Go (must-have) Solid understanding of GraphQL, REST, Thrift basics, and ability to design and implement maintainable APIs Experience with distributed caching systems and large-scale distributed data storage such as Cassandra Overlap time requirements : Full overlap with PST time zone Working conditions and benefits: Paid vacation, sick leave (without sickness list) Official state holidays — 11 days considered public holidays Professional growth while attending challenging projects and the possibility to switch your role, master new technologies and skills with company support Flexible working schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Personal Career Development Plan (CDP) Employee support program (Discount, Care, Health, Legal compensation) Paid external training, conferences, and professional certification that meets the company’s business goals Internal workshops & seminars Corporate library (Paper/E-books) and internal English classes.
